The H.O.P.E. (Having Opportunities for Positive Education) after school program was designed as a response to the state of Michigan’s 84% high school graduation rate. Educate Youth’s solution? Providing tutoring, job readiness, mental health support, and life & job skill training to students living in the 48197-48198 zip code, regardless of what school they attend.
The H.O.P.E. Program is a daily commitment ~ below are some of the benefits of attending:
- Students are compensated with a stipend
- Opportunity to take private music lessons (instruments are provided!)
- Food and snacks
- Tutoring
- Math support
- School supplies
- Support to pass classes
- Transportation to and from the Clubhouse
- Weekly art classes
